How to Apply
The
information given below provides general guidelines for making application for a visitor's Visa to China. Travellers requiring more detailed information concerning travel to specific areas in China or for specific/special purposes, are advised to contact the
Chinese Embassy in London or Consulate General in Manchester/Edinburgh.
The
following documents must be submitted together with your fully completed visa application
form:-

Passport
must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure,
ALSO, there must be at least 2 blank pages in the
passport for visa processing. Pages for endorsements or amendments cannot be used as a visa page.

A
completed (2 pages) visa application form. This can be downloaded from our website.

A
recent passport-sized photo must be attached to your application form.
- FOR TOURIST VISA please supply a copy
of your travel itinerary OR flight booking details
- FOR BUSINESS VISA please supply a copy
of an invitation letter from a Chinese Government department OR Government
authorised company
- Please provide your current postal address and contact telephone number on an envelope or on
a separate piece of paper.
- Your cheque to pay for the Chinese Embassy Visa Fee + Chinese Embassy Processing Fee + Postage + Our Service Fee, please see the Table of Visa Fees page for full details.
- No Visa
application can be processed more than 90 days
before departure.
